The idea
Type a Bluesky handle and get a transit pass for that account: when it joined, how many posts it has made and how fast, how many followers it has, and a route color of its own. Save it, share it, keep it in your wallet.
The three steps
- Type a handle. With or without the @, or paste a link to the profile. Any Bluesky handle works, including handles that are domain names.
- Print the pass. Choose whether the photo, name and handle show.
- Share it. Save or copy the image, or copy the alt text to put on your own post.
What is on the pass
- Route and line. A number and a line color picked from the account's permanent ID, so the same account always gets the same route.
- Member since. The date Bluesky has on record for the account, shown in UTC.
- Pace. Total posts divided by the days since the account joined, so it shows posts a day, a week or a month, whichever reads best. It is an average over the whole life of the account, not a recent rate.
- Posts, followers and following. The totals Bluesky shows on the profile, as of the moment you print.
- Pass type. Day Tripper (under a month old), Regular (under a year), Commuter (under three years) or Lifer.
Good to know
- Public profiles only. If an account has a content label, its photo and name are left off the pass.
- The whole thing runs in your browser. It asks Bluesky for the public profile and nothing else, and nothing is stored.
- The numbers keep changing on Bluesky. The pass shows them as of the time printed.
