The idea
Type two Bluesky handles and Mutual Match finds what the two accounts have in common: the accounts they both follow, the accounts that follow both of them, and the accounts they have both replied to. You get a card to save and share, and the full lists underneath.
The three steps
- Type two handles. With or without the @, or paste links to the profiles. Any public accounts work, not only your own.
- Wait a little. It reads each account's follows, recent posts and reposts, and recent likes. Big accounts take longer.
- Look and share. Switch between the three lists, search them, and save or copy the card.
What it counts
- Both follow. Accounts that appear in both accounts' follow lists.
- Community. Takes the accounts they both follow and finds which of those follow the most of the others. It's a quick way to see who sits at the middle of the group the two of you share. It reads each candidate's follow list (up to 1,000 follows), so it only runs when you press the button, and it starts with the first 60 shared accounts and offers 60 more at a time.
- Both replied to. Accounts that both people have replied to, in their most recent posts. It reads the newest 500 posts of each account first, so it covers recent history, not everything.
- They differ. For each account, the five accounts it likes and reposts most that the other account doesn't follow. Likes are counted from the newest 500 likes and reposts from the newest posts, so it covers recent behavior, not everything. It's a guess at what each one enjoys that the other has never picked up. If a follow list was cut off at the limit, the other account may follow some of them.
Good to know
- It reads the first 5,000 follows of each account, then stops. If an account has more, the page says so and offers "Load more", up to 20,000. When a list is cut off, the numbers are "at least", shown with a plus sign.
- Everything is read straight from Bluesky by your browser. Nothing is sent to our server or stored. The card is drawn in your browser too.
- Accounts with a content label, or that asked not to be shown to people who aren't logged in, are shown by handle only, with no photo or name, and are never named on the card.
- If an account's follow or follower list is private or can't be read, it says so instead of guessing.
